Agent Cheapskate is published by VSP Group LLC. This page says what the site collects. The street address is still a placeholder. See the footer. We do not publish a contact email.
If you sign up, your email address goes on our mailing list, which we keep with Resend, our email provider. Resend stores the address, the time it was added, whether you are subscribed to the Agent Cheapskate newsletter, and, until you use or replace it, a random code for your confirmation link. Signup limits are a separate record in Cloudflare D1. That database stores the IP address to count attempts for one hour, and a folded form of the email address to count attempts for one hour and to send at most one confirmation email in 24 hours. Plus-tags are grouped. For Gmail, dots are ignored and googlemail.com is grouped with gmail.com. It also counts confirmation sends per recipient domain and for the whole site, each for one hour. The message still goes to the address you typed. Those rows are only there to limit repeat mail. We first send a short confirmation email through Resend from [email protected]. The confirmation link works once and expires after 48 hours. Until you press the button on that page, you are not subscribed. Opening the link does not subscribe you. Pressing Confirm my subscription subscribes you and we send a welcome email. Every newsletter has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing stops them. We do not sell your address.
The welcome email has an unsubscribe link. Opening that link does not unsubscribe you. Pressing Unsubscribe on that page marks the status unsubscribed. The one-click unsubscribe control in your mail app does that too. A later signup does not turn that back on by itself. It can send another confirmation, and you are subscribed again only if you press the button on that confirmation page. The address stays stored with that status. We do not have a contact inbox for a separate deletion request.
The signup form has a field called company website that people cannot see. If that field is filled in, we ignore the signup and do not save the address. That field is there to catch automated signups.
Life Admin Kit clicks
If you click "Life Admin Kit, coming soon," we add one to a counter stored in Cloudflare Workers KV. The counter is a number. It is not tied to your name, email, or account. We do not have accounts on this site.
Analytics
We may turn on Cloudflare Web Analytics. That tool counts page views without cookies and without a profile of you. Until a real token is in place, the beacon on the page is a placeholder and does not record a visit we can use.
Hosting
The site is hosted on Cloudflare. Cloudflare processes requests in order to serve the pages. We do not use those logs to build a profile of you.
Children
This site is for adults handling their own bills and errands. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
